POETRY WORKSHOPS

I think it is real important that poetry is taught to as many people as possible so that the spirit and joy of poetry continues to live on. In my spare time, I teach poetry workshops. Over the years I have taught children in workshops in various schools and libraries in the UK. The workshops focus on the basics of poetry using simple techniques to get non poets writing. They have been a huge success, the children really enjoyed the process, producing some amazing pieces of poetry.
